We also have had the opportunity to make individualized videos for travel groups. In one instance, 8 families who traveled to China together for their daughters each sent us all of their material—video and stills. We went through all of the material, and selected the best footage for telling the story of the trip, and then selected the best photos and video for telling the story of each family, and wove it together into a 3-song video/DVD. Each of the 8 families received an individualized group DVD. We knew a 3-song video would be long enough to accommodate a travel group video, but the families could not decide among themselves which songs should be used. Any family that had ideas was encouraged to send a CD along with their material, and we selected the best 3 songs that fit the story of their adoption trip. Everyone loved it! We also were very happy with how all 8 turned out, fitting the personalities of each family while capturing the spirit of the group. We have posted two of the videos here for people to see. We like to have at least four families in any travel group particpate to proceed. This option works really well when there was a close bond with you travel mates and you all took photos and video of each other. The price per family is $325.00. Each family receives one personalized DVD. Please be aware that videos on the web will have drop out, and will not show transitions between scenes well where there are dissolves used—the final video/DVD will be as good as your original material. Because of the final length of this travel group video the file size is a bit large. If you do not have high speed access it will take some time to download. The final movie file can be saved to your hard drive, however, so you can view it later without the wait. Write or email us for more information about making videos/DVDs for your travel group.
